Hello.
I am Katherine, an Art Director and Brand Designer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Over the past decade I have been immersed in growing my craft as a multidisciplinary creative. My practice is driven by systems-thinking discipline, thoughtful listening, and a competitive spirit that desires to make things better every time.
Most recently, I was an Art Director on the Global Brand team at Flexport, a supply chain technology company. Prior to that, I led the Design team at 10x Genomics, one of the fastest growing biotechnology companies in the world. At these fast-paced, high-growth companies, I had the opportunity to lead branding refreshes; conceptualize meaningful creative campaigns telling the stories of our customers and products; establish crucial team operations and processes; and build, mentor and manage ambitious design teams. In addition to these start-up experiences, I have also designed for award-winning agencies and organizations making a difference in healthcare, sustainability and education.
When I am not designing, I love to swim laps, listen to live music, be outdoors and try to keep up with my energetic kids.
